Young Thug‘s brother Unfoonk has revealed additional details surround the plea agreement which led to his release from an Atlanta jail earlier this week.
On Wednesday (December 21), Unfoonk became the fifth person named in May’s sweeping Young Slime Life (YSL) indictment under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act to plead guilty to lesser charges in exchange for an immediate release.

During a recent IG Live session, the rapper (born Quantavious Grier) revealed that his deal also included stipulations about what he can and can’t say on a record. However, Unfoonk made the revelation indirectly, allowing others to speak on his behalf.
As the video starts, he appears on screen with the camera in selfie mode in a position that only leaves his face visible from the eyes up. In the background, a member of his entourage is heard saying “We can’t even wipe our nose.” Another member of the crew says “Slat,” at which point a separate voice interjects with: “Can’t say that. He had to go back in his album and redo lyrics.”
Towards the end of the Live clip, a snippet of a song comes on and Unfoonk is heard rapping: “Tell them bitches ain’t no doubting me/ I forever scream slat/ I beat another charge/ That’s another art,” before he jumps to say: “I’m serious! Stop! Take it out”
According to WSB-TV, Unfoonk pleaded guilty to one count of violating the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property on Tuesday (December 20).

The YSL rapper — who appeared on last year’s Slime Language 2 and has also collaborated with the likes of Future and Gunna — has been handed a 12-year sentence with two years commuted to time served and 10 years probation.
Under the terms of his release, he’s required to perform 750 hours of community service. He also can’t possess a gun or commit any criminal acts, has a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and isn’t allowed to contact Thug or any other co-defendants in the indictment until the case has concluded. In addition, he must testify if called upon but reserves his right to assert his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination.
Unfoonk’s deal is the first to address lyrical content and make mention of interactions with Young Thug, who remains behind bars after several petitions to be released on bond while awaiting trial.
On Thursday (December 22), a sixth YSL affiliate accepted a plea deal in the ongoing RICO case.
Antonio Sumlin (known as Obama) pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime and participation in criminal street gang activity on Thursday (December 22).
