YFN Lucci has allegedly been sipping lean behind bars, with a video showing the Atlanta rapper appearing to pour up while in jail.

Lucci is currently incarcerated at Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail as he awaits trial for murder and RICO charges, and a grainy new video shows the “Wet” hitmaker holding a bottle filled with purple liquid.

In the clip, Lucci is seen pouring the dark substance into another bottle labeled ginger ale and shaking the bottle to mix up the two liquids before the camera cuts off.

The Atlanta rapper’s legal woes first began back in January 2021 after a warrant was issued for his arrest in connection to the shooting death of 28-year-old James Adams.

After turning himself in, YFN Lucci (real name Rayshawn Lamar Bennett) was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Lucci posted bail, but was soon arrested again when he was named in a sprawling, 105-count racketeering indictment focused on factions of the Bloods gang. Lucci turned himself in to police on May 2021 and tried to post bail again, but a judge denied his motion.

Lucci and his lawyer, Drew Findling, have continued to maintain the rapper’s innocence. “He’s not a gang member,” Findling told WSB-TV. “What he is is an internationally recognized musical artist that is a triple platinum winner, that has performed all over the United States and all over the world.”

While Lucci was supposed to have his day in court on January 9, his trial conflicted with that of his rival Young Thug, who is also at the center of a sprawling RICO case.

Lucci’s trial was ultimately delayed, but paperwork surfaced of the rapper allegedly being served with a subpoena while in jail, calling on him to testify in Thug’s RICO trial in February. Lucci refused to take the stand, contradicting earlier reports.

YFN Lucci was stabbed by a fellow inmate while in jail in February 2022. Prosecutors claimed that two YSL associates were behind the attack and worked to get Thug’s permission to make a second attempt on the rapper’s life.

Despite this, Lucci took to Instagram last month and confirmed that he would not testify against Thugga.

“Even in a earthquake we wouldnt break n-gga know we solid #Free650,” he wrote at the time.
