Teyana Taylor has addressed rumors about her being pregnant in the middle of her divorce from Iman Shumpert.
The singer/actress appeared at the 33rd Annual Gotham Awards in New York City on Monday night (November 27) following the release of her A Thousand and One movie.

Taylor posed for photos on the red carpet while wearing a tight-fitting black dress, with some fans later suggesting that she looked pregnant.
The former G.O.O.D. Music signee came across the chatter online and denied the claims, clarifying that her stomach was bloated because she “just had to pee.”
“Auntey ain’t preggo y’all! I just had to pee,” she wrote in a comment on The Hollywood Unlocked‘s Instagram post. “Y’all know that pee pouch ain’t nothing to play wit. My kangaroo pouch ass.”
The speculation comes shortly after it was revealed that Teyana Taylor had secretly filed for divorce from her husband, former NBA star Iman Shumpert, in January.
The couple publicly announced their split months later in September, with Taylor saying: “infidelity ain’t one of the reasons for our departure.”

In her divorce filing, however, the singer accused her husband of cheating on her multiple times while also “treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.”
She also accused the former New York Knicks player of “being extremely emotionally and mentally abusive towards her.”

After the divorce papers surfaced online, Taylor issued a statement asking people to “please allow myself and my family some privacy.”
At the Gotham Awards, Teyana Taylor was nominated for Outstanding Lead Performance for her role as Inez de la Paz in A Thousand and One, but lost to actress Lily Gladstone for her performance in The Unknown Country.
A Thousand and One was nominated for Best Picture but lost out to Past Lives. However, the film’s director, A. V. Rockwell, picked up the award for Breakthrough Director.
Teyana Taylor also appeared in White Men Can’t Jump earlier this year alongside the likes of Jack Harlow and Vince Staples.

Her next role will be in The Book of Clarence from The Harder They Fall director Jeymes Samuel, which hits theaters on January 12.
JAY-Z is one of the producers for the film, with LaKeith Stanfield in the lead role.
