SZA, Teyana Taylor, and Brandy have been named as the honorees of this year’s Give Her FlowHERS gala, presented by Femme It Forward.
Announced on Thursday (November 2), the ladies will be receiving a variety of different awards, with the “All The Stars” singer receiving the Big Femme Energy award, which honors a woman who is making a “tremendous impact in music for this generation.”

Teyana Taylor, meanwhile, will be given the Visionary award, which is given to “game-changers” in the music industry. And Brandy will be given the Muse award for her “legacy, impact, and timeless music inspires past, current, and future generations.”
Other honorees at this year’s gala include Flo Milli — who will be receiving the Bloom award for being a breakthrough artist — Jordyn Woods and her sister, Jodie, Nova Wav, and Monaleo.

“After experiencing the powerful joy, inspiration, and genuine love of our inaugural event, we’re thrilled to bring together more trailblazing women and honor their impact at the 2nd annual Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala,” Heather Lowery, CEO and founder of Femme It Forward, said in a statement to the outlet. “This awards gala goes beyond giving the extraordinary women who have impacted culture their flowers, as we look to plant more seeds of change for the future.”
This announcement comes just one day after SZA was honored at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards in New York that took place at the Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday (November 1). The “Hit Different” singer was honored alongside Kylie Jenner, Jerry Lorenzo, Martin Scorsese, Ed Ruscha, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Walter Hood who were each gifted personalized, engraved bottles of Rémy Martin.
As for Brandy, she’s gearing up for her first-ever holiday album, which she announced on Instagram recently.
“For all my beautiful fans, my new album ‘Christmas With Brandy’ comes our November 10,” she said. “I feel so blessed to be able to create an album surrounding joy, Family, love and quality divine time with the ones you love.”

The 11-track album will feature holiday favorites, including “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Deck The Halls.” It will also contain original songs, including “Feels Different” and “Somebody’s Waiting.”
On top of all that, B Rocka and her daughter Sy’Rai will duet on a track called “Christmas Gift.”
