Soulja Boy has said he’s beyond frustrated with streaming platforms as a result of his latest album Soulja Season being pulled over a copyright claim.
Big Draco took to X to air his grievances against Spotify and Apple Music, saying they have removed his music numerous times over the years because of falsely filed copyright claims.

“My album ‘Soulja Season’ was taken off DSPs because of a copyright claim from a producer I purchased the beat from 100%” he wrote. “This is the third time this happened. First ‘Biggest Opp’ then ‘BigDraco’ This may be my last time working with producers. They messing it for all producers!”
Soulja Boy’s albums woes are just the latest in what’s been a rough month for the “Crank That” rapper. In July, it was revealed by Radar Onlinethat he has a debt to the IRS totaling more than $1 million, and the rapper recently admitted that his assets are limited: he owns three cars (two worth $250,000 each, and one worth $100,000), has about $18,000 worth of jewelry, and $50,000 worth of stock.
His attorney admitted to the Santa Monica Superior Court on July 13 that Soulja Boy couldn’t liquidate his assets because “they are in essence, tools of his trade” as an entertainer, and he has an image to maintain.
Even if Soulja Boy were to liquidate all his assets, he couldn’t pay the $476,000 owed to his ex, Kayla Myers. For that reason, he’s petitioning the court to forgo the punitive damages awarded to her — and, failing that, to throw the whole case out and get a retrial.
Soulja was also recently forced to clear up rumors of him being in the Illuminati, which he said were “bullshit” claims made by his haters.

“When I first got in the rap game a lot of people was like, ‘Soulja Boy joined the Illuminati. That’s how he got his money. That’s how he got famous, that’s how he got rich.’ But guess what? All I ever did was pray to God and stay in the studio and stay down until I got on,” he wrote on X earlier this month.
“They always try to discredit you for anything you do. First, they said I was in the Illuminati. Then they said a whole bunch of bullshit. All you gotta do is believe in God and stay down. Nothing can fuck with you. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”
