Slim Thug is apparently unable to message Kelis privately on social media, but that hasn’t deterred his efforts to shoot his shot.
Underneath an Instagram video of Kelis explaining the health benefits of olive oil from her farm, which grows olives among other things, the Texas rap legend made it known that he has the hots for the “Milkshake” star.

“Why can’t I slide in her dms [thinking face emoji],” he wrote flirtatiously in her comments section.
Hilariously, Kelis liked the comment.
Most people found the exchange funny, with one commenting: “She still bringing all the boys to the yard too.”
Another said: “That’s just like a man.. she trying to talk about some serious and he just worried about the slide in.”

Some comments also referenced the longstanding rumors that Slim Thug once fathered a child with his own cousin. The rumors began in 2012, shortly after Thug split up with former Destiny’s Child singer LeToya Luckett.
He recently addressed the speculation and even said he originated the rumor himself while attempting to troll people on social media.

In an Instagram Live video, Slim said: “I got a baby by my cousin? Which one of my aunties or uncles did I get pregnant with their child? Stop the cap, man. They come up with some bullshit like that. Stop the cap.
“Show me any of my aunties and uncles I got one of my cousin’s pregnant. You dumb muthafuckas. It come from when I trolled a long time ago saying some shit like that on Twitter. This is where that shit come from.”
Meanwhile, Kelis has made a habit of turning heads with her video posts from her working farm.
Earlier this year, she posted a clip after the farm had just seen the birth of a baby lamb but admirers were too busy focusing on her cleavage and rear.

Slim Thug commented on that video too, saying: “I like sheep.”
Sage the Gemini also commented on the post: “I’ll give up my life lord Jesus.”
Kelis moved to a working Los Angeles farm in 2020. The farm keeps over 30 animals such as sheep and also grows fruit and vegetables including peppers, lettuce, strawberries, carrots and a bunch of other things.
