Omarion has confirmed that he and Karrueche Tran almost hooked up before she began dating Chris Brown.
The B2K alum sat down for an intimate conversation with Hollywood Unlocked‘s Jason Lee, where he discussed a missed connection with Breezy’s former flame.

“Me, Chris Brown and Omarion — y’all were brothers,” Lee said. “One night, they say, ‘Bring all these girls.’ So I brought all these girls, and one of the girls was Karrueche. Do you remember that? Y’all were kind of feeling each other.”
“Yeah, that’s true. That’s true,” Omarion interjected.

“I thought y’all were gonna be a thing,” the media personality continued. “And then she was on Media Take Out with Chris. And you never said anything! What?! If I was you I would’ve!”
Omarion interjected again, playfully responding: “Come on now! You got to be unbothered,” nodding to the title of his 2022 memoir Unbothered: The Power of Choosing Joy by Omarion.
The photograph that Jason Lee referenced was just the beginning for Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran, who dated on-and-off for about four years between 2011 and 2015. They eventually called it quits after a messy and public break-up.
Meanwhile, Omarion would move on to find love with reality TV star Apryl Jones. The pair dated for several years before going their separate ways in 2016. However, they continue to co-parent their two children: daughter A’mei, 6, and son Megaa, 8.
More recently, the R&B singer revealed his newfound approach to dating, admitting there’s “pressure” when it comes to dating him, and that one woman alone might not be able to handle it.
Talking to Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay podcast in May, Omarion was asked how he finds his perfect woman, to which he replied that she usually “finds him.”

“If I really thought about my lifestyle and being with me, like the pressure of being with me, and it just being one woman, I don’t know if that exists,” he said.
