Nav thinks it’s time to get his flowers for representing the Toronto rap scene. In fact, he believes he’s one of the city’s “Top 3” rappers.
In a recent Instagram Story post, Nav made it clear that he believes he’s positioned himself among Toronto’s finest. He does, however, seem to have stiff competition.

Some of the city’s exports include Drake, Tory Lanez, Belly, and Preme among others. But according to the “Myself” rapper, it’s “no debate” that he belongs with the cream of the crop.
“I’M TOP 3 FROM MY CITY. NO DEBATE,” he wrote — see the post below.
This isn’t the first time the rapper/producer has expressed strong opinions regarding his musical abilities. Back in 2018, Nav went after XXL and its editor-in-chief after being left out of that year’s Freshman List.
According to him, the publication and its annual list of up-and-comers has become irrelevant.
“To my fellow artists,” he wrote on social media at the time. “We shouldn’t look to a magazine for validation or to tell us if we ‘hot or not’, especially one that hasn’t been credible for 10 years @xxl. Make music for yourself and your fans. I would never show up for the Freshman list cuz I don’t need their approval.”
Shortly thereafter, he released an accompanying single called “Freshman List,” which he dropped ahead of his upcoming Freshman Tour with 88Glam.
When it comes to his music, Nav released his latest single, “Lately” in February. Prior to that he hopped on Money Musik’s track “Double Faces” alongside SoFaygo.
The rapper’s last project Demons Protected by Angels, was released in September; it boasts appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, and more.
