Lil Uzi Vert took an unplanned dip in NAV’s swimming pool during a recent studio session together.

Footage of the hilarious moment surfaced on social media this week, and showed Uzi and NAV hanging out in the Toronto rapper’s backyard. The two rappers were walking past NAV’s outdoor pool when Uzi suddenly ran and jumped onto a platform in the middle of the pool.

Unfortunately, Uzi didn’t clear the landing and ended up slipping and landing on their backside on the platform, becoming drenched in the process. NAV saw it all happen and was left keeled over in laughter.

“Caught Uzi slippin leaving my studio last night,” the Demons Protected By Angels hitmaker captioned the clip on Instagram.

Lil Uzi Vert and NAV are more than just friends as they’ve proven to be a formidable duo on wax. The pair have collaborated on several records in recent years such as “Wanted You,” “Interstellar,” “Dead Shot,” “Leaders” and more.

In other news, Uzi recently took part in the Hip Hop 50th anniversary tribute performance at the 2023 Grammys. Baby Pluto performed their hit single “Just Wanna Rock,” which followed appearances from the likes of LL COOL J, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott and more.

Uzi is also celebrating “Just Wanna Rock” climbing to No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The MCVertt and Synthetic-produced track is the rapper’s seventh Top 10 entry and third highest-charting song as a lead artist following “Futsal Shuffle 2020” (No. 5) and “XO Tour Llif3” (No. 7).

The Philly native previously peaked at No. 1 as a guest feature on Migos’ 2016 single “Bad & Boujee” off the Atlanta group’s sophomore album Culture.

DJ Drama added more fuel to the “Just Wanna Rock” frenzy last week by claiming the song has “replaced” Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as the unofficial anthem of Philadelphia.

However, Uzi won’t be graciously accepting the title as they believe “Just Wanna Rock” has a ways to go until it can claim to have dethroned “Dreams and Nightmares” in the City of Brotherly Love.

“I don’t think so,” Uzi told The Shade Room on the red carpet at the 2023 Grammys. “That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I’m just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever.

“[Meek’s] a big homie from Philly, and that’s like one of my big homies,” Uzi added. “So I just like, feed off the energy that he gives actually to be able to even produce or put out that type of music. So like, hopefully. Like shit, hopefully he would hope that for me too. Not yet, though – it’s too early to tell.”
