Rod Wave’s father has blasted Moneybagg Yo in an eviscerating rant where he alleged that the CMG rapper threatened to shoot him.

“Moneybagg, you should’ve been told my son you apologized for being disrespectful to his daddy. The fuck wrong with you? Like you wanted to shoot me,” he said. “You all up in your car with your hand on your gun like you want to shoot me for asking for a lighter?
“You get in your car when you see I ain’t running. Your fat goons hop out the car like I’d fuck all them n-ggas up, man. All you n-ggas wanna run to your guns. A bunch of bitches. Line this shit up one-on-one. Fuck gunplay — anybody can do that shit.”

Green continued: “I ask this n-gga for a lighter and he look at me and ask me, ‘What the fuck you just ask me, n-gga? You ask me for what?’ These supposed to be street n-ggas and a regular n-gga can’t ask you… And you blow the whole spot up like you want to fight.”
Rod Wave’s dad also took issue with Moneybagg Yo allegedly big-timing his son when they collaborated on 2018’s “Feel the Same Way,” which the Florida singer reportedly paid $30,000 for Bagg’s verse.
Moneybagg Yo wasn’t the only rapper who Rod Wave’s dad is upset with. Fatz also put Kevin Gates on blast during his tirade for not interacting with him or Rod Wave’s mother while he and his son were on tour together.
“We did a whole city tour with Kevin Gates,” Green vented. “We didn’t see this n-gga Gates until he got on stage with my son. Then we seen how my son packed the party in Orlando. All the bullshit you saw on stage, them hugging, that’s the first time my son seen him the whole tour.”

“Kevin Gates, you can’t even come in his room and say, ‘Hey, parents to Rod, how you doing, Mr. Green? How you doing, Ms. Green?’ And that’s real,” he added.
Neither Moneybagg Yo nor Kevin Gates have responded as of writing.
In the past, Rod Wave has been open about maintaining a strong relationship with his father when he was growing up, despite Green serving a six-year prison bid.
“Phone calls, mail — I used to write pops,” he said in a 2018 interview with DJ Smallz Eyes. “We used to go see him. State prison. Writing him twice a month.”
