Money Man Becomes Latest Rapper To Catch Flak For Donald Trump Support

Money Man has joined the growing list of rappers who have publicly endorsed Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential elections.

During an interview on the HoodClips podcast that aired on Monday (March 11), the Atlanta MC was asked if he felt that the businessman-turned-politician did his job well during his time in office from 2017 to 2021.

“I fuck with Trump,” he answered. “I would go Trump [if he ran again]. This my thing — I don’t think the Democrats done did shit for us, man. I don’t see n-ggas getting rich out this bitch, man.

“At least the other side, they gon’ tell you how they feel, y’know what I’m saying? Shoutout Trump, man.”

People were quick to share their thoughts on the matter soon after the clip began making the rounds online.

“His administration worked aggressively to turn back the clock on our nation’s civil and human rights progress,” a social media user commented under a No Jumper reposting of the video, while another added: “[Young] Dolph or Nipsey [Hussle] would never.”

One person even bashed the 38-year-old directly and wrote: “Clown activities. Voting against your own people is crazy. The man literally didn’t want to renew the voting rights act that gave us the ability to vote.”

In a similar spirit, Sexyy Red recently revealed that she’s a huge fan of the former president, and even her comments didn’t go down too well online.

The St. Louis rapper talked about her affinity for Trump during a recent interview on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, during which she claimed that the hood loves the 77-year-old billionaire since he freed several notable Black people from prison and distributed stimulus checks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
