Kanye West‘s daughter, North West, has flexed her artistic talents with an impressive new sketch of her father.
On Tuesday (January 23), Ty Dolla $ign posted a photo carousel on Instagram showcasing the three covers for his upcoming collaborative album with Ye, Vultures.

Among the collection of photos was a hand-drawn portrait of the duo courtesy of 10-year-old North. The sketch showed Kanye wearing a Vultures t-shirt and sporting a “¥$” tattoo on his right arm, while Ty Dolla could be seen with matching ink on his cheek.
“Last slide by Ms Ms Westy!” the R&B singer wrote in the caption, referencing Ye’s daughter’s verse on their eagerly-awaited album.
The sketch serves as further proof that talent runs in the West family, with Kanye himself displaying artistic prowess during his younger years.
As a teen, the Yeezy mogul received a scholarship to Chicago’s American Academy of Art, where he sharpened his craft as a fine arts student. (He later transferred to Chicago State University to study English before dropping out, of course.)

In 2020, some of Kanye’s early drawings appeared in an episode of PBS’ Antiques Roadshow after one of the rapper’s cousins came into possession of the collection following the death of his mother Donda West.
The assortment of paintings and drawings were valued between $16,000 and $32,000, with appraiser Laura Woolley saying: “I think these pieces demonstrate an extraordinary facility as an artist.”
While it remains to be seen whether North West will pursue an artistic path, she recently declared that she plans to follow in her father’s musical footsteps.
In an interview with i-D magazine in November, North was asked what she wants to be when she grows up, to which she replied: “A basketball player, a rapper, um… Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer.

“I’m going to do art on the side. When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive.”
North also flexed her entrepreneurial spirit, saying she hopes to one day take over her parents’ respective business empires, Yeezy and SKIMS.

“So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell,” she added. “Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner.”
