Julio Foolio was shot and killed just over a month ago, and now multiple arrests have been made in the case.
On Monday (July 29), Tampa PD held a press conference to announce three arrests, with each suspect being hit with first-degree murder charges. 18-year-old Sean Gathright, 21-year-old Alicia Andrews and 21-year-old Isaiah Chance Jr. were all taken into custody. Police are still looking for two other people, Davion and Rashad Murphy.

Julio Foolio was shot and killed outside of the hotel on June 23 while celebrating his 26th birthday.
Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw says their investigation discovered the suspects to be members of rival gang ATK – which reportedly has ties with Foolio’s longtime enemy, Yungeen Ace.

Just earlier this week, Ace spoke for the first time about the murder and detailed their last conversation before his death.
Ace had been accused of putting a $10,000 bounty on Foolio, but has denied playing a role in the murder.

Speaking on Instagram Live, he said: “That shit sad, I ain’t gonna lie, bruh. Leave the streets alone, playa. I don’t condone shit like that.”
In a surprise turn of events, Ace then revealed that he and Foolio were actually on good terms before his death and that he advised his one-time foe to stay away from the streets.

“It’s so funny ’cause we were cool and shit,” he added. “I was just talking to him and I was like, ‘Bruh, you gotta stay out of the way. You know a n-gga love you out here. I fuck with you, real shit.’”
In an anonymous video posted online earlier this month, a man claiming to be the killer of Julio Foolio said: “On everything I love, on the dead homies, I put it on everything on my soul, on my kid, n-gga: I’m the one that smacked Julio Foolio that night when he got dropped at his birthday celebration.
“I ain’t gonna show my face or give my identity away or nothing like that, but you know, I did that.”
He also detailed how Yungeen Ace allegedly ordered the hit: “There was money on his head. I rock with Ace and them boys, ATK. I be in Jacksonville heavy. If you know, you know.

“I handled that because Ace had that money on his head, Ace had them put that 10K up. Told me to slide, told me to smack Foolio ’cause he got tired of that n-gga running his mouth, playing all the time, you feel me?”
Julio Foolio and Yungeen Ace, as well as their respective crews KTA and ATK, had been feuding for years after Julio’s cousin was shot and killed in 2017, with Ace later hit in a retaliatory attack.
