“The person you thought you knew – that shit was all a lie,” she says in the video. “Everything that I been through, I just always overcome every obstacle. And I just had hoped, hoped, hoped that I get a second chance at music. This is a new chapter for me and I really, really, really wanna show the world who I am.”
The full documentary arrives two days before her debut, City Cinderella, on July 19.

The cover features a naked JT – but her entire bottom half is made out of ice (or possibly glass). A glass slipper sits nearby as the Florida native wears a crown on her head.
Just days later, on Tuesday (July 9), the Miami native announced that she will be hitting the road in support of the forthcoming LP with 21 performances across the United States this summer. The trek will kick off late next month in Kansas City and conclude toward the end of September in Los Angeles.
Tickets will be available starting Friday (July 12) and can be purchased here.
Back in February, the Florida MC dropped her first official solo track “Sideways” to critical acclaim as it became the No. 1 most-added song on United States Urban Radio just weeks after its release.

Two months later, she teamed up with Doechii on the single “Alter Ego.”
