Tyla Yaweh Celebrates On Instagram After Post Malone Collaboration 'Tommy Lee' Goes Platinum

Tyla Yaweh is now officially a platinum artist. The melodic Floridian rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday (February 8) to share that when he awoke his Post Malone collaboration “Tommy Lee” had been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Of America (RIAA).

“Aaaaahhh woke up & went platty with the broski,” Yaweh wrote referring to Posty. “We dropped this when the world just needed love man!!! TOMMY LEE 4 THE ROCKSTARS FR. love y’all & can’t wait to give yall this album! #RAGERBØY.”

The shiny new plaque comes after Yaweh dropped his latest single “Do No Wrong” featuring Trippie Redd and PnB Rock on January 14. The single is the latest drop to help promote his long-awaited album RAGERBØY, which Yaweh has extensively teased since 2021. It seems the project is finally coming together, as Yaweh dropped off a trailer for the record on Thursday (February 3).

Tyla Yaweh released his debut album Heart Full of Rage in 2019, which featured appearances from French Montana and PnB Rock. He’s since collaborated with numerous stars including Wiz Khalifa, DaBaby, Gunna, YG, DDG, Trippie, Pnb and of course Post Malone. The 2020 single peaked at No. 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has surpassed over 143 million streams on Spotify alone.
