Rick Ross was in full-on joker mode when he decided it would be a good idea to tase a random friend. In an Instagram video uploaded to Akademiks page, the former correctional officer laughs hysterically as he connects the taser with the man’s chest.
He did offer a warning before pulling the stunt, explaining, “Everything’s straight. Can’t charge Rozay with nothing. We live on the movie set.”
Ross has seemingly been in jovial mood since his “In Da Club” lawsuit victory over 50 Cent who filed the original suit in 2015 after Ross used a sample of the song for his Renzel Remixes mixtape.
In 2018, a judge ruled Ross wasn’t at fault because the Power television mogul didn’t actually own the song — Shady Records/Aftermath did. Undeterred, 50 filed an appeal, determined to collect $2 million from Ross. But last week, New York City’s Second Circuit of Appeals upheld the original ruling.

Subsequently, Ross trolled 50 online in multiple Instagram posts.
In one of the video clips, Ross held up his phone revealing a screenshot that read, “50 Cent Loses Rick Ross ‘In Da Club’ Remix Appeal.” The text above said, “Congratz!!!!” In another clip, he cracks a bottle of Luc Belaire and smiles. The caption states, “He who laughs last, laughs loudest. #richerthaniveeverbeen.”
Ross then set his sights on former G-Unit affiliate Lloyd Banks and insinuated he was in financial distress. Banks made it clear he wanted nothing to do with Ross’ online shenanigans shortly after, tweeting, “I’ll NEVER join the circus, so don’t expect it from me. peace & love.”
