Between Boosie Badazz’s comments about Dwyane Wade’s child to recent remarks about his own son, Boosie’s name has been tied to a lot of controversy this year. But in a more positive story, Yella Beezy spoke to HipHopDX about a full circle moment involving the Baton Rouge rapper.

Beezy paid Boosie for a feature shortly after he was released from prison in 2014. The Dallas-bred rapper explained he had money from the streets so paying for a feature wasn’t a pocket-breaking expense.

Fast forward four years later and Boosie catches wind of Yella Beezy’s bubbling hit “That’s On Me.” Beezy recalls watching Boosie post the song online and giving it praise.

Eventually, the Hitco signee sent Boosie the instrumental with an open verse and Boosie hopped on the official remix without charging a penny. Beezy admits 2 Chainz and T.I. also got on the remix without charging for their verses.
