The “Slow Down” singer-songwriter has yet to comment on the allegations publicly, though a representative for the veteran R&B crooner tells TMZ they are pursuing legal action against “what appears to be a weak yet calculated attempt to obtain financial gain through ulterior motives in the matter.”
V’s rep also labeled the woman’s version of events as an “apparent false report.”
“Bobby takes any allegation against women very seriously. However, false allegations damage true victims of sexual abuse.”
This latest news comes just a few weeks after V released his latest album Electrik, spearheaded by the Snoop Dogg-assisted single, “lil’ Bit.”
