This week on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart, Drake lands at #1 for his latest single “Summer Sixteen,” pushing Rihanna’s “Work” to #2. Elsewhere, Rihanna’s two ANTI cuts “Needed Me” and “Sex With Me” come in at #4 and #10 respectively and lastly, Wiz Khalifa, Post Malone, Travi$ Scott and Yo Gotti all fall out of the Top 10 after being featured in last week’s report.

Drake Takes Top Spot With “Summer Sixteen”

Drake’s “Summer Sixteen,” the lead single off his upcoming album Views From The 6, debuted at #1 this week, selling 214,677 units during its first week of release. The track, which Drizzy premiered via his OVOSOUND RADIO show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 on January 30, features the Young Money artist taking aim at Meek Mill and fellow Toronto rapper-singer-songwriter, Tory Lanez.

Rihanna’s “Work” Slips To #2

Despite a 23% increase in sales, Rihanna’s “Work” slipped to #2 this week as a result of the success of Drake’s “Summer Sixteen,” mentioned above. Nevertheless, the single still sold an impressive 155,725 units during the the seven days leading to February 4, taking the cut’s total sales after just two weeks on the chart to 281,830.

G-Eazy Falls To #3

G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I” landed at #3 this week, selling 61,948 units during the seven days leading to February 4. That figure was a 4% decrease on the 64,815 copies G-Eazy moved the week prior. The single, which features on the rapper’s sophomore studio album When It’s Dark Out, has now sold a total of 521,070 units since its official release.
