Following the release of Eminem’s ShadyXV record “Fine Line,” Outsidaz lyricist Young Zee has responded to the record with a song of his own titled “Dear Shady.”

On “Fine Line,” Em gives a shout out to Young Zee and the rest of the Outsidaz as he raps, “Zee, you always supported me / You vouched, I will never forget that and / How you guys accepted me for me and Pace / I love you too, you slept on my couch.”

In the music video for Zee’s “Dear Shady,” the visual starts off with vintage footage of Eminem and the Outsidaz taking part in an interview.

“I met Zee in New Jersey,” Eminem says in the video footage. “I came out like a month later. Met Zee. Met the rest of the Outsidaz. Got down with the crew. You know what I’m saying? And the rest is history. It’s like a whole family thing.”

Following the interview footage, Zee’s “Dear Shady” record then begins to play.

Despite a disclaimer at the start of the video that states that Eminem and Zee are “two friends,” on the song, the Newark, New Jersey rapper expresses his grievances with the rapper as he raps about being left out of Slaughterhouse and Em not being there when his house burnt down or when he was arrested.

“Let me ask you / Why you ain’t come to my avenue / When you grabbed dudes for your rap crew / I paid mad dues…Anyhow, my house burnt down/ I’m in Jersey now / You ain’t care, you ain’t even come around / I got locked up for selling quarter pounds down Bordentown / You could have looked out, you could have came and bailed me out,” Lil Zee raps.
