Drake is getting the pettiness he dished out to DeMar DeRozan returned back to him, courtesy of Sacramento Kings owner, Vivek Ranadivé.
DeRozan, who played for many years in Toronto and currently suits up for the Kings, made his first appearance in Canada last weekend since he appeared in Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” video and graced the stage at the Compton rapper’s Pop Out concert.
During the game, Drake could be seen staring down DeRozan from his courtside seat – and he had some words for him during a post-game interview.
“If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself,” he told Canadian sports network TSN. “Unfortunately, we’re playing this goof tonight, but it is what it is.”

But Kings owner Ranadivé got the last laugh at the Kings’ home game against the Raptors on Wednesday (November 6), sitting courtside wearing a shirt that referenced Kendrick’s chart-topping Drake diss, “They Not Like Us.” To make matters worse, the Kings beat Drizzy’s home team 122-107.
Prior to Ranadivé getting involved, DeMar DeRozan himself responded to Drake’s actions.
Asked after the first game about the 6 God’s pledge to tear down his hypothetical banner, DeRozan said: “He’s gonna have a long way to climb, I’ll tell you that.”

He later posted a clip from the movie Friday on his Instagram Stories of Chris Tucker’s character comically saying he only gets tough when neighborhood menace Deebo’s back is turned.
DeRozan previously explained his allegiance to Kendrick Lamar in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, though he admitted that he has love for both K. Dot and Drake.
“At the end of the day, I’m from Compton. My city, where I’m from, where I was born, where my family still lives, that comes first before anything,” he said.
“I feel like any real person would understand that. It’s so crazy because my second home became Toronto, that has one of the greatest [rappers] of all time coming from there too.”

DeRozan also confirmed that he had not spoken to Drake since his feud with Kendrick kicked off this spring.
As well as appearing in the “Not Like Us” video, DeRozan was namedropped by Lamar on the chart-topping diss track.
“I’m glad DeRoz came home, y’all didn’t deserve him neither,” K. Dot rapped, referencing the NBA All-Star’s 2018 departure from the Raptors, of which Drake is an ambassador.
