Joe Budden has laughed off Drake‘s attempt to intimidate DeMar DeRozan during a recent NBA game between the Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings.
Speaking on his self-titled podcast, Budden mocked Drizzy’s tough-guy antics throughout the game, during which he mean-mugged and trash-talked the former Raptor (who appeared in the music video for his rival Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us” diss song).

“I’m not mad at him — he should feel a way. It’s never the conflict, it’s the inability to navigate conflict,” he said. “What he did with the conflict is where I’m like, ‘Ehhhh.’
“All that standing at the game, the ice grilling, the face, the mumbling under the breath. We’re n-ggas and we’re respectful so we not gonna say it… but you a bitch! [laughs].”

The former Slaughterhouse MC continued: “He went to the game and cut his eyes. Ooh, these are the duck lips of death! Talk about duck tales. Yo, don’t come to my game and cut eyes at me, my n-gga. I’ll throw this ball at you.”

Joe Budden says Drake is a b*tch for staring down DeMar DeRozan at the Raptors game after the Not Like Us video cameo

Budden also discussed DeRozan’s much-talked-about appearance in Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” video: “I think that Drake takes ‘Not Like Us’ really, really serious, as he should. I think a lot of West Coast people just took a West Coast pride in that song.
“I don’t think some people take that song as serious as him… Maybe [DeRozan] didn’t look at it as a crossing of the line.”

Despite his appearance in the video and onstage cameo at Kendrick’s Pop Out concert, the NBA star has insisted that he has no issue with Drake.
He told the Sacramento Bee in July: “Drake’s still my man, none of it changed. It’s so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like, but at the end of the day it’s music, entertainment.
“Two of the biggest rappers in the world went at it from a competitive standpoint, and they battled it out.”
Drizzy, who is a global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors, has also been mocked by Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé for his actions towards DeRozan.

Appearing courtside as the Kings triumphed over the Raptors 122-107 earlier this week, Ranadivé sported a sweatshirt which simply said: “They Not Like Us.”
