Sean Kingston has settled a civil suit alleging that the singer and his former bodyguards gang-raped a girl.
The girl, now 22, alleged that the rape occurred in 2010, but has now settled out of court, reports TMZ.
The report indicates that Kingston has not dmitted guilt, but that he wants to focus on his upcoming tour and new album release.
Additionally, the report indicates that Kingston paid the alleged victim a “fraction” of what she asked for in order to make the lawsuit disappear. The exact amount of the settlement was not disclosed, though the initial suit was for $5 million.

Even though the singer settled, Kingston’s camp apparently believed that he would have won the case if he had gone to trial, with a source saying,
“Her story wasn’t consistent. She told various stories throughout her interviews with police. Her friend’s story wasn’t consistent with hers. The medical report had no indications of force.”
Kingston acknowledged having sex with the girl, who was 19 at the time, but said the sex was consensual.
Sean Kingston’s most recent album was 2009’s Tomorrow. His next project, Back 2 Life, is slated for a September 10 release. In 2011, Kingston was involved in a near-fatal jet ski accident, which required open heart surgery.
