Beyoncé leads all artists with 11 nominations thanks to her chart-topping Cowboy Carter album, material from which appears in multiple categories across different genres. Bey, who is the most decorated artist in Grammys history with 32 wins, is now also the most nominated artist with 99 — breaking a tie with husband JAY-Z.

As expected, Kendrick Lamar also makes a big splash thanks to his dominant diss songs against Drake, with “Not Like Us” receiving five nominations including in the coveted Song of the Year and Record of the Year categories.

Future and Metro Boomin, Eminem, Cardi B, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, J. Cole, GloRilla, Latto, Rapsody, Common and Pete Rock also have nods in the rap categories, as does first-time nominee Doechii who is up for Best Rap Album and Best New Artist, among others.

Elsewhere, André 3000’s polarizing pivot to spiritual jazz has paid off as his debut solo album New Blue Sun is in the race for Album of the Year, marking his first nomination in the category since OutKast‘s historic win in 2004.
