Wu-Tang Clan co-founder Ghostface Killah may be used to “politicking” with longtime rhyme-partner Raekwon. However, the Staten Island, New York emcee has not been one of the political emcees in the Hip Hop landscape throughout his 20 years on record. That appears to be changing, as G.F.K. has recently taken an interest in the Hackensack, New Jersey 5th District congressional candidate Roy Cho. Teaneck, New Jersey’s Patch.com reported Ghost’s endorsement Monday (June 17).
Cho is currently a corporate lawyer and board member for New Jersey Needs You. Ghost, a once-platinum artist who maintains a residence in New Jersey, provided his fans with information and a flyer to Cho’s policies.
In April, Ghostface teamed with producer Adrian Younge to release his 10th solo album, Twelve Reasons To Die. The effort featured fellow Clansmen U-God, Masta Killa and Inspectah Deck, along with affiliates Killa Sin and Cappadonna.
