Drake was lying about feeding Kendrick Lamar and his team false information — at least that’s the picture being painted by Akademiks, anyway.
Speaking on his Rumble channel over the weekend, Ak — who has been in regular contact with Drizzy throughout his feud with Kendrick and even premiered numerous diss songs — appeared to turn on the 6 God by sharing some insider information.

The media personality said of the artwork for K. Dot’s “Meet the Grahams,” which featured several items allegedly belonging to Drake including Ozempic pills: “I think Drake knew these things were stolen. It does look like some stolen shit.”
“Drake did know that they were stolen so I don’t know if he’s trying to reverse psychology it. When Drake said he set it up, I’m taking that to be the 11-year-old daughter thing,” he continued, referencing Kendrick’s claim that the Toronto native secretly fathered a daughter.

“Because from everybody I’ve talked to including Drake, we can’t even see where this came from and Kendrick said it so definitively in what was supposed to be his biggest song. That was supposed to be the biggest exposé.”
Drake claimed to have fed Kendrick fake information on his diss song “Family Matters,” rapping: “We plotted for a week, and then we fed you the information/ A daughter that’s 11 years old, I bet he takes it/ We thought about givin’ a fake name or a destination/ But you so thirsty, you not concerned with investigation.
“Instead you in that Venice studio, it’s a celebration/ You gotta learn to fact-check things and be less impatient/ Your/ fans are rejoicin’, thinkin’ this is my expiration/ Even the picture you used, the jokes and the medication/ The Maybach glove and the drug he use is for less inflation/ Master manipulator, you bit on the speculation.”
so Akademiks just proved that there was never any “planted mole” and all the info that Kendrick had on Drake came from a unknown source which puzzled Drake.

Akademiks also said both rappers told lies about each other in their respective diss tracks.
“I think both of these guys put their fair share of lies in there too in the battle. Drake doesn’t have a kid, Kendrick lied. Kendrick’s kid isn’t Dave Free’s, Drake lied. So there’s lies all in this.”

Drake appears to have thrown in the towel after being deemed by many to have lost the battle.
Taking to his Instagram Stories over the weekend, Drizzy posted an illustration of a Japanese samurai facing off against a huge cavalry — a nod to the “20 vs. 1” narrative he referenced on his diss song “Push Ups.”
Above the picture, he wrote: “Good times. Summer vibes up next.”
Many fans took the post to mean that he’s bowed out of the beef between himself and Kendrick. “and just like that one of the greatest beefs in hip hop history has just ended,” opined one fan, while another wrote: “he threw the white flag.”

While everyone from Joe Budden to Cam’ron and Ma$e believe that Kendrick Lamar took home the victory, TDE label head Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith thinks that another winner emerged victorious: the culture.
“This battle is over. A win for the culture, while keeping it all on wax,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) last week. “Especially when these publications try to make it something else.”
