Drake and Future are no longer feuding after privately burying the hatchet, according to Elliott Wilson.
In the latest twist in the Hip Hop civil war that erupted earlier this year, Wilson revealed on the latest episode of The Bigger Picture that the What a Time to Be Alive collaborators recently squashed their beef over the phone.

āI have it on good authority that Drake and Future have at least gotten on the phone and resolved their differences,ā he said.
The veteran Hip Hop journalist suggested that the truce was helped by Young Thugās recent social media post in which he urged Drake, Future and Metro Boomin to make amends.

ā@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin,ā Thugger wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in October, prior to his release from jail after agreeing a plea deal in his long-running YSL RICO case.
āI think that helped the energy when Future reposted it,ā Wilson said.

Despite being mentioned in Thugās tweet, Metro Boomin was not a part of the peace talks, according to Wilson.
āThereās no trust there still with Metro,ā he joked, ābut I do believe that Drake and Future are back on the same page.ā

Wilson also noted that a Drake and Future reconciliation isnāt all that surprising given the 6 God held off on dissing Pluto in the way that he did Kendrick Lamar and his other ā20 vs. 1ā opponents (āPluto shit make me sick to my stomach, we aināt never really been through it / Leland Wayne, he a fuckinā lame, so I know he had to be an influence,ā he rapped on āFamily Matters,ā blaming Metro for the friction).
āObviously we know that Drake and Future have so much history. Drake was the one saying, āWe never really went through it.ā [Future] got the lightest of all the taps in the one v. 20, so it makes sense in some capacity,ā the former XXL editor-in-chief concluded.

Drake and Futureās once-prolific partnership fractured in March following the release of the latterās We Donāt Trust You album with Metro Boomin, which was laced with shots aimed at Drizzy.
In addition to Kendrick Lamarās blistering guest verse on the chart-topping āLike That,ā Hendrix himself appeared to subliminally diss his frequent collaborator on the opening title track.

āYou a n-gga number one fan, dawg / Sneak dissinā, I donāt understand, dawg / Pillow talkinā, actinā like a fed, dawg / I donāt need another fake friend, dawg / Canāt be ābout a ho, ācause we sharinā, dawg / In yo feelings, n-gga, why you playinā, dawg?ā he spit.
The lyrical jabs continued on Future and Metroās follow-up album We Still Donāt Trust You, which saw A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd step into the ring.
There even appeared to be simmering tension leading up to the two albums, with rumors that Future was āupsetā at Drake for dropping a joint album with 21 Savage.
āI heard thereās a big rumor that Future is not too happy with this Drake and 21 Savage album [Her Loss], and it makes Drake and Futureās album not as important, I would say,ā N.O.R.E. said while guest hosting The Breakfast Club in early 2023.

āThis is allegedly, this is all rumors, Iāve never heard it from Futureās mouth, never heard it from Drake, never heard it from 21, but itās an alleged big rumor thatās going on right now.ā
Now that Drake and Future are back on good terms, all eyes will be on a potential musical reunion between the dynamic duo ā just donāt expect Metro Boomin to be behind the boards.
