Doja Cat has denied dissing her rap peers on the deluxe version of Scarlet, claiming that she doesn’t “get in rap beefs.”
Following the midnight release of Scarlet 2 CLAUDE, the “Paint the Town Red” rapper took to X on Friday (April 5) to clear up online speculation that she’s taking shots at her contemporaries on the project.

“No one has done anything to me for me to even want to begin to diss them. all my peers been nice as fuck and welcoming of me. please stop fucking grasping for straws here,” she wrote.
“I dont play these games you all are playing. its incredibly childish and quite frankly the most depressing shit ive ever come across on the internet. grow the fuck up. i dont get in ‘rAp bEefS.'”

Doja’s statement was met with support from some fans, with one writing: “My whole timeline is people theorizing who you might be dissing even though you’ve made it clear multiple times that you don’t diss your peers. It’s so embarrassing.
The Grammy-winner replied: “I’m dissing the man in the song saying hes barking like a woman/ calling him a bitch but that goes over anyones head whos smooth brained.”

She was referencing a line on the song “Acknowledge Me” where she raps to a lover: “You out here actin’ like you sniffin’ on some Carly Rae/ Cartier on you, but you barkin’ like you Cardi B.”
Doja concluded her online rant by saying: “Hope yall enjoy the deluxe do with it what u will God bless.”
The speculation seems to stem from the deluxe track “OKLOSER,” which features plenty of barbed rhymes from Doja Cat.
“You cannot come to the cookout, get your hand up out the cooler/ She was in my seat, I had to scooch her/ She was at her knees, I had to boot her/ She just left the team like we ain’t knew her/ She just left the team like, okay, loser,” she raps.

She also spits: “Why the fuck these bitches always comin’ out the woodwork?/ Don’t know why she mad ’cause, bitch, ain’t nothin’ I did to her/ She just out here plottin’ on my ass, I call her Stewart/ She the lowest, she so down and out, I’ll sue her.
“Grow the fuck up, act your age, you immature/ Maybe one day, you gon’ create some allure/ Maybe one day, you’ll be great and go on tour/ Like me, hey.”
Despite her recent assertion, Doja made it pretty clear on the original Scarlet that she does, in fact, enjoy a good rap beef.
On the vulgarly-titled “Wet Vagina,” she rapped: “All that stressin’ ’bout me has been givin’ you acne/ Pass the popcorn ’cause I really like rap beef/ I got hot songs, that’s why everyone at me/ I don’t get involved, but my bitches get nasty.”
