DJ Envy has been fending off some serious trolling after being accused of real estate fraud, with many dubbing him a con artist.
Amid the legal troubles he and business partner Cesar Pena are currently up against, people have been unearthing footage of the two pushing what many are now deeming a Ponzi scheme.

“Dj Envy was really the official ponzi scheme tour guide,” one person wrote on Twitter, while another added: “Nothing about these 2 looked 1% Legal.”
Another social media user highlighted claims that the pair gave their alleged victims gifts: “DJ Envy and his co-defendants were giving their victims chains.”
The Breakfast Club is currently searching for a new co-host as Envy’s real estate fraud allegations rage on. Last week, iHeartMedia, the company that owns the hit morning show, put out a Workday job listing for a replacement.
According to the post, the applicant would ideally have three years of on-air radio experience; audio demos of on-air interviews, commentary and announcements; and a 4-year college degree, preferably in Communications or Broadcast Journalism. The salary for the position is between $130,000-$330,000 per year.
There has been no formal announcement that the New York disk jockey’s job is on the line as iHeartMedia has been looking for an additional member for The Breakfast Club squad since former host Angela Yee departed in December 2022.
This, however, hasn’t stopped celebrities from chiming in about Envy’s misfortunate regarding his dealings with the embattled real estate investor he teamed up with. Last week, a video surfaced online in which Rick Ross can be seen (seemingly) taking a jab at the controversial radio jockey with a simple rhyme.
