While it’s unsure when the snap was captured, the duo appear to be living their best life — Boosie liquor bottle in hand — despite reports of a recent health scare.
Last week, the 40-year-old, who has diabetes, experienced minor health problems after he exhausted himself while on the road. Though he stayed mum about the details regarding the severity of the issue, he posted a photo on Instagram on Monday (August 27) revealing that he had been taken to the hospital after his blood sugar going up to dangerously high levels.
“[SHOUT] OUT TO THE NURSES N DOCTORS AT BAPTIST MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOR GETTING MY BLOOD SUGARS DOWN N GETTING ME N OUT,” he wrote alongside a pic showing his arm with two plasters on it.
“NO COVID, NO DKA [Diabetic ketoacidosis], JUST HAD TO GET SOME BAGS OF FLUIDS (BEEN TO 6 STATES N 4 DAYS) DOC SAY I NEED REST I AGREE. HEADED BACK HOME THANKS TO THIS BIG ASS BED N I HEARD ITS GO BE RAINING.”

Badazz’s diabetes has been tough on the rapper for years. The “Wipe Me Down” rhymer was once forced to end a concert early in New York City due to not taking his medication, which he said was due to a miscommunication with his luggage during his travel.
He most recently opened up about the condition in January, saying he still at times struggled to manage the disease.

Introducing himself as the son of Pimp C by using the late rapper’s “Sweet Jones” nickname and adding a “Jr.” to drive home the point, Webbie’s photo seemingly paid tribute to the late UGK rapper’s iconic sense of style, which would often see him rocking fur coats and hats — like in the video for “Int’l Players Anthem (I Choose You).”
However, due to the ambiguity of his choice of attire, fans were divided and clowned the rapper in the comments section.
“Nahhh bro.. I got you in my top 5 of all time! You can’t do this to me,” one fan wrote. “I’m already arguing with [ninja emoji]’s that tell me you shouldn’t be there… as a photographer I wouldn’t have let you do this man.”
