Bobby Shmurda was one of many Hip Hop figures mentioned in Uncle Murda’s “Rap Up 2022,” but he’s leaving his street ties in the past.
The Brooklyn rapper was listening to Murda’s vicious, 15-minute track — in which he recaps some of the biggest moments in Hip Hop culture last year — when Bobby heard himself get name-dropped, and all he could do was laugh.

“Murda, I’m a changed man, Murda. I’m a changed man,” he pleaded. “I’m different, I’m tryna change, Murda. I ain’t trying to boom nobody no more.”
50 Cent, who is no stranger to controversy himself, hopped in the comments section and added: “Crazy crazy, Crazy.”
Uncle Murda referenced Shmurda’s recent feud with NBA YoungBoy and the Baton Rouge rap star checking Rich The Kid over a photo with Lil Durk on “Rap Up 2022,” letting it be known that the GS9 rapper’s response might be different than his fellow NYC native.
“NBA YoungBoy had Rich The Kid shook over a little picture with Lil Durk that he took / Hope he know Bobby Shmurda and Rich The Kid different / Bobby will really boom you, n-gga, watch who you mention,” he rapped.

YB and Bobby got into a war of words on social media in November over Rowdy Rebel’s appearance on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion, where he questioned the actions of King Von’s alleged killer, Lul Tim, an affiliate of NBA YoungBoy and Quando Rondo.
YoungBoy responded to Bobby dissing Quando Rondo via his own Instagram Stories, calling Bobby “Von Shmurda” and a “slave.”

“Ok mr ‘von shmurda’ you better stop the violence boy !!!!” he wrote. “I thought you was a fan & don’t lie[.] Go make a hit[.] I just want to be friends.”
In a follow-up post he added: “Well talking violent[.] Help me keep the peace or just stay far away slave.”
Their feud was rekindled last month when YoungBoy targeted Bobby on his Never Broke Again Radio show on Amazon’s Amp platform.
“You ain’t even strong enough to do this with me, bruh,” YB said about the Brooklyn rapper. “I’ma stay out your way, bruh. I’m going to stay the fuck out of your way.”

He continued: “‘Cause I see you let these White people stuck you stupid-ass in jail and let you out and give you not one thing. And now you ready to kill somebody and go back to jail.”
Shmurda laughed off the controversy. “I’m not to respond to this n-gga. There’s no way, I’m too gangsta … you can’t pay me a billion dollars to suck nobody’s dick,” he said. “You can’t pay me a billion dollars to do nothing outside of my morals. Meaning, I can’t talk about the next n-gga for no money.”
