Famous New York City born rapper Bobby Shmurda is one of the pioneers of Brooklyn Drill Music. In 2014, Bobby released his debut hit single “Hot Boy AKA Hot Nigga” and it’s Bobby’s biggest song to-date. Lil Kim, French Montana, Jay-Z and more even hopped on their own remixes. “Hot Boy AKA Hot Nigga” peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. The remix was prominent, featuring Rowdy Rebel, Chris Brown, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, and Yo Gotti.
