Born in Santa Monica but raised in Detroit, Big Sean is one of the top MCs today. His rhyme scheme has influenced so many rappers that have come after him. He was discovered and signed by Kanye West to GOOD Music in 2007. After releasing several mixtapes, Sean dropped the studio album Finally Famous in 2011, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum. He released his second studio album, Hall of Fame, in 2013 and it peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200, going Gold. Sean's next albums, Dark Sky Paradise in 2015, I Decided in 2017, and Detroit 2 in 2020, all debuted atop the Billboard 200 and received Platinum certifications. As an actor, he currently has a recurring role on BET’s “Twenties.”
