Last night (January 9), J. Cole‘s documentary highlighting his homecoming concert in Fayetteville, North Carolina, J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming, premiered on HBO.
Opening with show with “Be Free,” the 90-minute documentary centers around the rappers sold out show at the Crown Coliseum last summer and included guest appearances from Jay Z, Drake, YG and Big Sean.
J. Cole performed every song on his Grammy-nominated, platinum album-selling 2014 Forest Hills DriveLP.
The Scott Lazer-directed documentary tells the life of Cole through his own words and a series of commentary from family and friends.
