50 Cent has called on Mike Tyson to “chill” out after the boxing legend gave a morbid interview ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.
Tyson was doing an interview with 13-year-old internet star Jazzy of JazzysWorldTV when he made dark comments about mortality.
When asked an innocent question about what type of legacy he wants to leave behind, the former heavyweight champion replied: “I don’t believe in the word legacy, I just think that’s another word for ego. Legacy doesn’t mean nothing.”
He added: “I’m just passing through. I’ma die and it’s gonna be over. Who cares about legacy after that? So I’m gonna die and I want people to think I’m this, I’m great? No, we’re nothing, we’re just dead, we’re dust, we’re absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing.”

50 reposted the awkward interview clip on Instagram and commented: “Got Damn it ! Mike ya scaring the kids, WTF [ninja emoji] chill. Note to self, keep the kids away from Mike.”
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s hotly anticipated fight went down on Friday night (November 15) at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium, streamed live on Netflix.
Before the fight, the two already got physical after the YouTuber-turned-boxer stepped on Tyson’s foot at the weigh-in earlier this week.

In retaliation, Tyson slapped Paul across the face and the two were separated by their teams and security.
Tyson last competed as a professional in 2005 when he lost to journeyman Kevin McBride, but did return to the ring in 2020 for an exhibition bout with fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. which was scored a draw.
50 Cent and Mike Tyson have had past encounters before. Darryl Baum, who was the boxer’s friend and bodyguard, was accused of being the man who shot 50 nine times in 2000 before being murdered himself weeks later.

50 later bought Tyson’s 52-room Connecticut mansion for over $4 million.
The G-Unit boss revealed that he ended up losing money on the massive compound, saying: ““The Tyson crib was like that, that was definitely it. I paid $4.1 [million] and I sold it for $3 [million].”
“I had it for 14 years, the upkeep was about $700,00 a year,” he added. He had originally tried to sell the property for $18.5 million but let it go at a massive discount during some financial difficulties.
50 also said that because the estate was so large, he and his G-Unit entourage were able to all stay at the residence and allow him to still have his space.
