Young Thug’sYSL RICO case is headed to trial next week but even in the unlikely event he’s offered a plea deal before then, at least one of his family members doesn’t think he should take it.
Thugger’s father, Jeffery Williams Sr. recently spoke with Infamous Sylvia where he defended his son’s innocence and voiced his hope that he’d reject any sort of plea deal on the table prior to trial.

“I can’t answer that because I’m not him,” he said of a possible plea deal. “I’m his father. My son is not guilty of a lot of things that these people [prosecutors] probably saying about him. As a father, if they came to him with a plea deal and he left it up to me to give him the advice, I would tell him, ‘No.'”
Williams Sr. confirmed he will be present in the courtroom every day of the upcoming YSL trial — which starts on January 9 — to support his son.
“I’m a parent. I’m a father,” he said. “I’m not that daddy who just there. Right now, it’s me and him against the world.”

A seventh and eighth YSL affiliate took plea deals last week with Trontavious Stephens, who goes by “Tick” and “Slug,” in addition to Antonio Sledge regaining their freedom after pleading guilty to racketeering and conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Prosecutors also named YFN Lucci — who is also behind bars on separate murder and racketeering charges — as a potential witness during a court hearing last week. However, his attorney, Drew Findling, told TMZ that his client won’t be testifying at trial.
“Any party can announce for example that Abraham Lincoln is on their witness list, but those words alone are meaningless,” he said. “So, to be 100 percent clear, Rayshawn Bennett (YFN Lucci) will not be a witness in the YSL case.”
YFN Lucci’s involvement in the RICO case came to light when it was reported that Young Thug allegedly ordered a hit on the rapper, who was stabbed while in jail earlier this year.

Legal documents revealed there was a bounty on Lucci’s head and he begged the judge to sentence him to house arrest, but was denied. Antonio “Obama” Sumlin, one of two men prosecutors believe was behind the stabbing, took a plea deal last week.
