On Sunday (March 24), the New York City rapper married his partner Chantel at a low-profile wedding ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to peers such as Tone Lōc, Rob Base and DJ Icy Ice showing up, Montell Jordan took on the role of celebrant.

“Marriage is a sacred, spiritual covenant that represents the promise that God’s love never fails us,” the 55-year-old singer said while officiating the union, before referencing his biggest hit by saying: “This is how we do it.”
