YG and Saweetie have reportedly split after almost a year together.
According to The Shade Room, the couple came to a mutual decision to separate with sources telling the publication they will remain friends and that the split was amicable.

The two rappers are also apparently focusing on their careers.
YG and Saweetie appeared to begin dating last spring after they were spotted at Coachella together.

Shortly afterwards, the California natives all but confirmed the romance rumors when they were photographed on holiday together in Mexico where they were seen kissing in a swimming pool.
However, each party have never commented on the relationship publicly.

YG and Saweetie were also scheduled to hit the road together last year along with Tyga on the Str8 to the Klub Tour before the concerts were canceled without explanation.
Before linking together as a couple, the pair had collaborated musically when they both featured on Mozzy’s 2022 track “In My Face” which also featured 2 Chainz.

Saweetie previously became single in 2021 following the end of her relationship with Quavo.
The “ICY GRL” rapper announced their split on social media amid rumors that the Migos star had cheated on her.

“I’m single,” she wrote. “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
She added: “I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.”
The relationship was marred by rumors of physical violence after a video emerged of the two of them getting into a fight in an elevator.
Quavo denied being violent, saying: “We had an unfortunate situation almost a year ago that we both learned and moved on from. I haven’t physically abused Saweetie and have real gratitude for what we did share overall.”

Last year, YG revealed the craziest thing he had done for love. Asked the question during an appearance on Power 106, the “FDT” rapper said: “Kept fucking with a bitch after she cheated.”
The Compton rapper previously dated Kehlani for several months in 2019 before he was seen drunkenly kissing another woman in public.
After the incident, he said he loved the singer and was “regretful.”
