YG has reportedly been arrested after getting hit with a misdemeanor DUI in the Los Angeles suburb of Burbank.

According to a report from TMZ, the “Big Bank” rapper was spotted by cops in the early hours of Tuesday morning (October 1) after he’d accidentally driven over a curb. They found him standing outside of his car, and though they did not administer a breathalyzer test, cops did take a blood sample.

YG was pictured at an event hours before the arrest, attending ‘The Push Back Against Project 2025’ in Los Angeles with Taraji P. Henson, Meagan Good and more.

The rapper has been very vocal in his stance against Donald Trump and in addition to attending events pushing back on his policies, he reaffirmed his anti-Trump stance in a live stream last month.

I think it’s still [fuck Donald Trump],” YG told Adin Ross on his Kick stream in August. “I seen something a week or two weeks ago that Trump was trying to give immunity to police officers and I don’t understand how a human being can do that. I’m Black so I got a lot of homies and friends that been in police brutality situations where they ain’t really do nothing wrong.

“Police tripping out and n-ggas end up dead or fucked up in jail and all type of shit, and I feel like police should be responsible for their actions. But for Trump – he thinks different and I don’t fuck with that.”
