XXXTENTACION fans are getting a new glimpse into the late rapper’s life after a few unseen photos were shared with the public this week.
On Wednesday (April 17), Akademiks shared four previously-unreleased images of the rapper which included one of X at the beach about to get on a jet ski, one posing for a shot with his bodyguards in tow, a candid at Walgreens and a fan selfie at Walgreens.

The fan pictured came across the post and added some additional details in the comments.
“Thats me in the picture I was always shocked he would just casually go into the Walgreens i worked at and walk around like he wasnt famous,” she shared. “He was very nice and im glad i got to meet him before he passed.”
While XXXTENTACION is no longer here, fans do get to see a glimpse of him through his five-year-old son Gekyume – who failed the “one bad word challenge” in adorable fashion earlier this year.
In a video posted online by the child’s mother, Gekyume was put up for the viral challenge on social media.

The “one bad word challenge” is an online game where parents allow their children to say one curse word.
In the video, Jenesis Sanchez tells Gekyume he can “say whatever bad words” he wants, but the five-year-old, who is dressed as Spider-Man, instead imitates the superhero.

Gekyume then begins singing the iconic Spider-Man theme song from the original 1960s cartoon while pretending to fight enemies.
The post received a number of positive comments, with one saying: “Love this. It’s Sad that his father is physically missing these moments. As a father I know the feeling of being there and just being proud of my sons even if they do any little thing. He definitely has his dad in him.”

Another said: “Kid don’t even know how to be bad, good job mom.”
Gekyume also recently modeled a merchandise collection that was released to honor what would have been XXXTENTACION’s 26th birthday.
The collection came courtesy of Revenge, a clothing company set up in 2016 by X’s close friend Garette, who named the brand after the rapper’s song of the same name.
Alongside photos of Gekyume modeling t-shirts and hoodies, the brand wrote on Instagram: “Happy Birthday Jah, Hope We Make You Proud Today, Lookbook Ft Gekyume and Aiden, @xxxtentacion + @revenge Online Now, Your Legacy Will Never Fade.”

Following its release, it was announced that the collection was sold out in just 20 minutes.
