This isn’t the first time Boatwright has gotten into hot water for social media controversy.
Back in April, he was condemned for appearing to mock the late rapper’s five-year-old son on social media.

Boatwright, who was one of three people convicted of murdering the “Look At Me!” rapper, shared a post of X’s son Gekyume on Instagram Stories where the child walked around his house showing pictures of his late father.
Boatwright — or whoever manages his Instagram page, as he is in prison — added crying laughing emojis over the post.

One user wrote: “XXXTENTACION killer Michael Boatwright is one evil soul, here you have him laughing at X son pointing at a picture of his dad, mocking Jenesis (X’s baby mother) & he actually had the nerve to add the video of him counting the cash he stole from X as a highlight on his Instagram.”
Another said: “Michael boatwright deserves to rot In jail.”
Last year, 29-year-old Boatwright and his co-defendants Dedrick Williams and Trayvone Newsome were sentenced to life in prison for the 2018 murder of XXXTENTACION outside of a Florida motorbike shop.
Boatwright infamously blew a kiss and smiled at the camera when his guilty verdict was read aloud in court.

A fourth person involved in the murder, Robert Allen, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in August 2022. He took to the stand to testify against his co-defendants during the trial in hopes of reducing his sentence.
