Wiz Khalifa has reportedly been indicted for allegedly smoking a joint onstage at a performance in Romania this past summer — something he was arrested for at the time.
Romania-Insider reported on Monday (October 21) that the Pittsburgh rapper was indicted on October 16 in Constanța for illicit drug use, which the outlet says is punishable by a fine or between 3 months and 2 years in prison.

The event happened at the Beach Please! Festival on July 13. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the rapper was charged with illegal drug possession before being released from custody.
Romania’s anti-organized crime prosecutors DIICOT stated at the time: “Investigations revealed that during a performance at a music festival in the Costinești resort, Constanța County, he possessed more than 18 grams of cannabis (a risk drug) and consumed another quantity of cannabis on stage in the form of a hand-rolled cigarette.”

Immediately following the incident, Khalifa took to X (formerly Twitter) to address it.
“Last nights show was amazing,” he wrote. “I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage. They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time.”

Earlier this year, Wiz Khalifa made headlines with another performance, but for much more positive reasons.
During a show at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on April 27, Wiz delivered a touching performance of “See You Again,” during which he flashed photos of various rappers who’ve passed away on the screen above the stage.

Each photo contained the year of their births and deaths, with many noting that none of the rappers — except for DMX, who was also included in the tribute — made it to their 40th birthday.
In addition to the homage to X, the “Black & Yellow” rapper also mourned the deaths of rappers like TakeOff, PNB Rock, Young Dolph,King Von, XXXTENTACION, Pop Smoke and Nipsey Hussle.
In other positive Wiz news, he recently became a parent again.
Wiz Khalifa and his girlfriend Aimee Aguilar welcomed a baby girl into the world in late July.
