In a 3.5 review rating of 10, HipHopDX‘s Scott Glaysher wrote: “The beats, bars, and blitzkrieg of “boom boom boom booms” are ever present like they have been for the last ten years. For those who are already fans of Gunn and his no-nonsense rap prowess, this project will be music, or gun sounds, to their ears.”

“Science Class,” the fifth track on the album, is nominated for Best Hip Hop Collaboration at the 2022 HipHopDX Awards. It features Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and Stove God Cooks and will go up against Drake and 21 Savage’s “Jimmy Cooks,” Jack Harlow and Drake’s “Churchill Downs,” Benny The Butcher and J. Cole’s “Johnny P’s Caddy” and GloRilla’s “Tomorrow 2” featuring Cardi B.

Westside Gunn’s biggest collaboration on 10 may be the album intro, on which he collaborated with Wu-Tang Clan legend RZA. In an interview with Fader, Westside Gunn spoke on locking in with RZA and how grateful he was to finally get a collab done.

“It’s been a dream of mine since day one to be on the RZA beat,” Gunn said. “And to have that sound — this is what I’m begging him for, like ‘Bro, I need this.’ I got it [and] I’m thankful. It’s not the end of me and RZA. We have more.”
