Waka Flocka Flame has made an interesting confession about “No Hands” after the certified club banger earned him first diamond plaque.
In an Instagram Story posted on Saturday (July 22), the Atlanta-by-way-of-New York rapper revealed that if it weren’t for the recommendation of DJ Love Dinero, he wouldn’t have taken the track as his own to begin with.

“Thank u for letting me know this a hit brada,” he wrote while sharing Dinero’s post about the song’s diamond success. “I’ll never forget I tried to fight you for playing this girly ass record and now look. Crazy how life goes.”
Wale, who appeared on “No Hands” alongside Roscoe Dash, also reacted to the news on his Instagram Stories, writing: “classico. Floarin. [Trophy emoji].”
Drumma Boy — the Memphis native who produced “No Hands” — told TMZ that it was quite the momentous occasion for him as well.
“[The song] felt special and I felt like the conductor,” he said. “I saw Roscoe in the corner and really one of the only people really locked in rapping to himself. I said what you got bro … go in the booth!!!”

He continued: “The rest was history … I had just cooked the beat up from scratch in front of 70+ people so it was like I was the DJ and once I got the people rocking, it was a wrap!!!”
Despite not liking the song at first, Waka Flocka Flame is still salty that “No Hands” didn’t win a Grammy.
The former Brick Squad bully took to Twitter in April to question why his 2010 anthem was snubbed of any sort of consideration by the Recording Academy.
“How did i not get a grammy for no hands,” he wrote.

One fan tried to come up with an answer and responded: “You had some major competition drop in 2010. I mean run This Town won in 2010 and then 2011 was kanye’s all of the lights, that’s hard to win over either those records.”
Others gave the Georgia-bred rhymer his flowers. “Idk but y’all had us in chokehold when it came out,” one person wrote, while another added: “Idk but it blew out my 12[inch] sub in high school.”
