Wack 100 has backtracked on his claim that Drake sent Kendrick Lamar a cease and desist over “Not Like Us.”

Speaking on Clubhouse over the weekend, the controversial music manager — whose clients include The Game, 6ix9ine and Bluefaceclaimed that Drizzy had issued the legal notice in an attempt to prevent K. Dot from performing the hit diss song during his Super Bowl halftime show next year.

“He’s trying to get the NFL to restrict Kendrick,” Wack said, before speculating that JAY-Z, who helps organize the halftime show, would not allow Kendrick to be censored by Drake or the NFL.

In a follow-up conversation with Akademiks on the media personality’s Rumble channel, however, Wack walked back his comments and clarified that he was merely repeating rumors he had heard.

“Hold on, here’s the thing, right? We run a morning show over there on Clubhouse from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time,” Wack explained. “All day, I gotta backchannel with 30 people. All people do is drop clips from all different sites for shit to talk about.

“Wack didn’t say shit. Wack read a fucking clip. I read a fucking clip! I wouldn’t know if fucking Drake sent a cease and desist. Why? Because I don’t represent Kendrick in business or Drake in business, so I wouldn’t know if a cease and desist happened.

“All I said was ‘Shit, the clip was saying Drake sent a cease and desist ’cause it was defamation or whatever’ … So once I read the clip, it turns into, ‘Wack 100 said.'”

Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX halftime show has already caused quite a stir since he was announced as the headliner last month.

In his announcement video, the Compton rapper appeared to taunt Drake by saying: “You know it’s only one opportunity to win a championship; no round twos.”

“No round twos” appeared to be a reference to a Rasheed Wallace interview clip Drizzy had previously posted in which the former Detroit Pistons star guarantees a game two victory over the Indiana Pacers in the 2004 NBA Eastern Conference Finals, which some had interpreted as a subliminal warning to his bitter rival.

In response, the 6 God seemingly sided with the view that Lil Wayne should’ve been given the Super Bowl gig over Kendrick due to the big game taking place in his hometown of New Orleans.

While the likes of Nicki Minaj, Birdman and Cam’ron were vocal in their complaints, Drake took a more subtle approach by posting several photos of his Young Money mentor on social media in the midst of the heated debate.
