Vivica A. Fox and 50 Cent dated nearly two decades ago, and it seems they still have quite an effect on one another.
When asked about reuniting with her old flame during a recent interview on SHERRI, Fox — who briefly dated the G-Unit mogul for several months in the early 2000s — jokingly mentioned Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindling their romance nearly 20 years after breaking up and said: “Why not?”

Fox has made numerous references in the past about 50 being the “love of her life,” however, the pair have had quite the bumpy relationship since breaking it off in 2003. Most recently, 50 put his ex on blast for directing her own Black Mafia Family film.
According to Deadline, Fox has been tapped to direct The First Lady of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story, an upcoming biopic about the Detroit gangster set to debut on BET+ later this year.
Also boasting Judge Greg Mathis as an executive producer, the film “charts Welch’s rise from teen mom to drug dealer to being labeled by federal prosecutors as ‘The First Lady of BMF.’”
After catching wind of the project, 50 Cent — whose BMF series that he launched in 2021 is one of STARZ’s most popular shows — took to Instagram back in March to slam Vivica A. Fox for venturing onto his turf.
“This should say 263 not BMF, @southwest263 [shrug emoji],” he wrote, referencing the crew BMF co-founder Terry “Southwest T” Flenory started in Los Angeles. “What the fvck is this man ! [tea emoji] [frog emoji].”

During another segment of the interview, Fox responded to the rapper’s comments and noted that it was just his way of “complimenting her.” “That was his way of support. Thanks, boo,” she said.
