Tyler, The Creator has taken his Chromakopia promotional campaign up a notch by surprising a fan with a personal delivery of his new album.

A user named @ry.k_ took to Instagram on Monday (October 28) to share footage and photos of the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

In the video, the fan answers the door and finds Tyler stood in front of him, holding a Postmates bag containing his Chromakopia vinyl along with merch items.

The two then chop it for several moments and share a hug before Tyler departs.

Tyler, The Creator’s seventh studio album, Chromakopia was released on Monday (October 28) and boasts collaborations with the likes of Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino and ScHoolboy Q.

The vinyl version also features a verse from Playboi Carti, as well as a bonus track called “Mother.”

The album arrived a few hours after Tyler premiered the album during a sold-out listening event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The $5-a-ticket show saw the Odd Future founder dressed in a black mask and military uniform while stood on green-lit shipping containers inside the recently-opened $2 billion home of the Los Angeles Clippers.

After performing the album in its entirety for the very first time, Tyler gave a brief speech to the crowd where he explained the inspiration behind Chromakopia.

“This album originally started [with me] growing up in these areas. I was like, ‘Oh shit, no one knows anything about me from before, like, 17,’” he said.

“The album kinda just turned into me taking a bunch of shit my mom told me as a kid. Now that I’m 33, all of that stuff is like ‘Oh, that’s what the fuck she was talking about!’”

He added: “People are getting older, folks are having kids and families, and all I got is a new Ferrari. I’m gaining weight, I got a gray hair on my chest.
