Tyler, The Creator is a man of many talents, from rapping and singing to producing, and he’s now put another skill on display.
On Wednesday (July 26), the California native took to Instagram with a theme-less slideshow. Among the pics and videos is a clip of him playing a stripped-back version of “Doogtooth” on the piano and singing along to it as well.

Though it is no secret that Tyler plays the piano, watching him get behind one to perform is still a rare sight. The song from the video was released in March as part of TheEstate Sale deluxe companion to his 2021 album, Call Me If You Get Lost.

Though the Odd Future co-founder has become one of the biggest names in modern music, he has remained grounded and never forgotten those who set him up for success.
In a recent interview with the Rap Radar podcast, the “New Magic Wand” hitmaker shared how learning about Jermaine Dupri’s extensive songwriting background only made him respect the producer even more
“He has so much knowledge,” Tyler said. “Jermaine Dupri is one of our greats. Truly, one of our greats, like, I was listening to “Sweetheart” by him and Mariah Carey off of that album. And I’m listening to this, and I’m like, ‘I didn’t even know Jermaine Dupri was writing these songs.’ And by the way: I didn’t know! Pharrell told me! And I’m like, ‘n-gga, what?’ Yeah! This n-gga be writing these songs!”
Dupri subsequently took to Instagram and reposted a portion of the interview to tease a potential collaboration between the two.

“Yo!!! @feliciathegoat I was contemplating back-and-forth,” he wrote. “If I should even post this, but what I feel is what I write and I felt the need to let everybody know I truly appreciate your amazing words. Thank You [prayer hands emoji] I’m in the studio right now waiting for you to tell me when you’re ready. lol.”
