Trey Songz has been fighting a sexual assault lawsuit for quite some time, and now he’s demanding that the case be completely thrown out because he claims his alleged victim is lying about his attempt at a bribe.

Court documents obtained by Radar Online reveal that the alleged victim — Jauhara Jeffries — claimed that Songz allegedly offered her $200,000 to lie about the assault, which she claims happened at a Miami nightclub in 2021.

Jeffries, who also said she initially met the “Bottoms Up” singer at Diddy‘s house in 2018, is suing the singer for $20 million.

Trey Songz, however, has a different story — one that is backed up by a witness named Mariah Thielen, who claimed to be at the Miami nightclub with Jeffries and Songz on the night in question.

According to Thielen, the fracas started when Jeffries tried to record Songz at the nightclub, which Songz did not want her to do. When Jeffries refused to stop recording him, Songz had his security escort her away from him.

Thielen also testified, under oath, that Jeffries’ attorney took her to lunch shortly after the incident, and offered her “between $100,000 and $200,000, depending on the size of the judgment awarded” to lie on Jeffries’s behalf, so as to “paint him as the next R. Kelly.”

With this newly-uncovered testimony, Trey Songz — through his attorney — is demanding that the entire lawsuit be thrown out.

A judge has yet to rule on the motion.

But this isn’t the only sexual assault case that Trey Songz is facing.

Last month, a woman — who is using the name “Jane Doe” to protect her privacy — filed a lawsuit demanding $10million for sexual battery and assault, which includes claims that Trey Songz allegedly grabbed and exposed her breast at a pool party in August 2013 at the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut after she merely tried to get a picture with the singer.

In a video captured by a friend of the accuser — who subsequently sent the video to TMZ — the singer (real name Tremaine Neverson) can be seen grabbing the accuser’s bathing suit top, dropping it, and exposing her breast.

“In what appeared to be an attempt to further terrify and humiliate [the woman], [Trey Songz] followed the assault with a degrading chant, ‘Titty in The Open … Titty in The Open,’” read the court documents.

Jane Doe also named Kevin Liles, Atlantic Records, and Trey Songz’s production company in the lawsuit, claiming that they were “negligent in their supervision of their client” and thus responsible for his actions.

“Entities such as Atlantic Records and key executives like Kevin Liles must reassess their obligations toward ensuring the safety and dignity of everyone at any event associated with their artists,” the accuser’s attorney, George Vrabeck, told Rolling Stone. “My client demands transparency, accountability, and a prioritization of safety over profits.”

However, it’s worth noting that — as in the Jeffries case — Jane Doe reportedly demanded $5million from Songz to make the case “go away” — an offer which he subsequently refused.

Trey Songz is a Warner Music artist. HipHopDX is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
