Trey Songz has been sued for alleged sexual assault — and this time, the suit comes from a woman who claimed the “Bottoms Up” singer groped her without her consent at a pool party.
Rolling Stone reported that the woman — who is using the Jane Doe pseudonym to protect her privacy — claimed the alleged assault happened in August 2013 at the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut.

The lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday (June 1), is demanding $10million for sexual battery and assault, which includes claims that Trey Songz allegedly grabbed and exposed her breast at the pool party after she merely tried to get a picture with the singer.
In a video captured by a friend of the accuser — who subsequently sent the video to TMZ — the singer (real name Tremaine Neverson) can be seen grabbing the accuser’s bathing suit top, dropping it, and exposing her breast.
“In what appeared to be an attempt to further terrify and humiliate [the woman], [Trey Songz] followed the assault with a degrading chant, ‘Titty in The Open … Titty in The Open,’” read the court documents, according to Rolling Stone.
Jane Doe also named Kevin Liles, Atlantic Records, and Trey Songz’s production company in the lawsuit, claiming that they were “negligent in their supervision of their client” and thus responsible for his actions.
“Entities such as Atlantic Records and key executives like Kevin Liles must reassess their obligations toward ensuring the safety and dignity of everyone at any event associated with their artists,” the accuser’s attorney, George Vrabeck, told Rolling Stone. “My client demands transparency, accountability, and a prioritization of safety over profits.”

However, it’s worth noting that Jane Doe reportedly demanded $5million from Songz to make the case “go away” — an offer which he subsequently refused.
This isn’t the first time that Trey Songz has found himself on the receiving end of a sexual assault lawsuit. Back in November 2022, a rape civil case filed against the “Mr. Steal Your Girl” singer for an alleged rape he committed in 2016 was dropped after the statute of limitations ran out.

A woman under the alias of Jane Doe filed the complaint earlier this year claiming she initially had a “consensual” relationship with the R&B singer but claimed that Trey Songz became a “savage rapist” in March 2016. She alleged that TS anally raped her when she told him repeatedly to stop and was seeking $20million in damages.
Trey’s legal team intercepted the filing and had the civil suit thrown out since the statute of limitations in California only lasts two years — so anything after March 2018 wouldn’t find Trey Songz liable.

In April 2022, Trey Songz was cleared of the sexual assault allegations stemming from an incident in a Las Vegas hotel in November 2021.
Trey was accused of sexually assaulting a woman while in town to celebrate his 37th birthday party. The incident had allegedly occurred after hours at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel when the “Heart Attack” singer and his entourage returned from Drai’s Nightclub with numerous women.

Former college basketball player Dylan Gonzalez accused him of being a rapist in a 2021 tweet that he also denied.
In a 2017 interview with The Breakfast Club, actor Keke Palmer spoke about her split from Trey Songz and accused him of “sexual intimidation” for tricking her into being in the “Pick Up The Phone” music video while they were at a party. Palmer explained she had to hide in a closet to avoid being filmed and was berated by Songz.
All of these accusations led Rory Farrell — one-half of the Rory & Mal podcast and former co-host of The Joe Budden Podcast — to remark that Surviving R. Kelly would pale in comparison to a documentary about Trey Songz.
“In 15 years or however the fuck long it’s gonna be, that Trey Songz doc is gonna be crazier than the R. Kelly one,” he said in an Instagram Live video. “Trey Songz is one of the most nasty, abusive, rapey, beats the shit outta women — like, he is the scum of the fucking Earth. Trey Songz is fucking disgusting.

“His doc is going to surpass — if you ever thought you could surpass an R. Kelly doc, I promise you in 15 years, his doc will. He’s an awful human being. Like, a terrible, terrible fucking human being. And somebody is gonna knock him the fuck out.”
He continued: “This isn’t one story; this is personal that I know with — I’m not even exaggerating — close to 15 to 20 women, all with the exact same experience that I know not to be liars at all.”
